Philip Stanton is an American Creative director, illustrator, designer, university professor and fine artist, based in Barcelona since 1988. His design company Stanton Studio s.l., creates visual communication projects in many different media and contexts (web, print, urban, trade fairs, exterior etc) for a wide variety of national and international clients. He has also helped to organize, coordinate and create small and large scale creative events and/or installations for international clients such as The Mobile World Congress (GSMA), Zegna, Agbar Tower, TMB, MOSI (Tampa) Port Forum, the Campania Region (Italy), Hewlett Packard, the Barcelona City Government (bcn.cat) and the Catalan Regional Government (gencat.cat)

He is also a university professor in the undergraduate and/or graduate programs of illustration and design in EINA/UAB & BAU/UVIC in Barcelona, Spain, and is a visiting MFA professor at UNIS in Guatemala City, Guatemala. He created and has been the director of the prestigious Postgraduate Creative Illustration international program since 2000.

As author and/or illustrator he has published more than 40 books for children or adults in 10 languages, and as a visual artist has participated in more than 60 solo or group exhibitions.
